Man's Relationship with God
We believe that all have sinned and are separated from God. All are offered God's salvation. All will be raised from the dead: believers to eternal life with God and unbelievers to judgment and eternal separation from God.
We believe that He is the Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He committed no sin. He died for us and justified us with His blood. He was raised from the dead, is seated at the right hand of God, and is coming again. Salvation is through Jesus Christ and no other one and no other way.
We believe that His presence is a promise to believers. He dwells in all believers and gives life and gifts for His use in the Body of Christ, which is the church.
The Local Church
We believe that Christ is the Head of the Body which is the Church and that believers are joined to Christ and to each other. We believe that we are one people, united by His Spirit. We believe that all believers are called to share the Gospel and to minister to others in Jesus' name. We practice baptism by immersion because we believe it was the mode of Christ’s personal baptism and His command to His followers. It pictures the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord. We observe the Lord's Supper regularly because we believe it to be a New Testament practice.
We believe it is the inerrant, inspired word of God, profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness and is at work in believers.
We believe Jesus has commissioned every believer to make disciples by leading people to faith in Him and helping them to grow in Him.
